Chronicles of the Lost Years brilliantly replicates Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s narrative style, using Watson as the first-person narrator. It takes a more humane perspective of Sherlock Holmes, a perspective that has become popular since Jeremy Brett’s brilliant portrayal of the great detective in the Thames Television series.
